Sorry for the late condolence. I was unable to attend Uncle Elmer's funeral and I am saddened by that. I will always remember being a little girl either sitting on my living room floor or in uncle's basement listening to him and his brothers (one's my dad Ernie) and his sons singing and playing guitar. I will always have the fondest memories of Uncle Elmer. He always had a big smile on his face and was always so happy. My last memory of uncle was at the Chabluk reunion in Cooks Creek in 2015 when Ken brought him out to see the family. I saw him and immediately went to give him a big bear hug! Thank you Ken for that opportunity and thank you Uncle Elmer for being one of the best men I've had in my life! I'll always remember you and will miss you smile and presence at other Chabluk functions. My condolences to you Arnold and Regina, Ken and Donna, and Jeff. Your dad was a wonderful man and he made a wonderful family. Love you all. Tara Chabluk - Posted by: Tara Chabluk (Niece) on: Dec 02, 2018

On behalf of Winnipeg Hydro X Retirees, we express our condolences-on the passing of Elmer. Elmer was a long time employee of Winnipeg Hydro at the Rover Street location for electrical maintenance. Elmer was a real nice guy, and much sympathy goes out to the family. Winnipeg Hydro X Retirees. - Posted by: wayne stannard (winnipeg hydro x retirees) on: Mar 20, 2018

I’m so sorry to have heard the news of your dads passing Arnie, Ken and Jeff; my sincerest condolences to you and your families. The last time I saw your dad was with my son at a Transcona restaurant some 10-12 years back (he was having coffee with some buddies). I said hello, reintroduced myself and after a second or two of reflection, he just lit up with a huge smile and was genuinely happy to stop and chat for a spell. His joyous laughter, big smile and sincerity were just the same as I remembered from years earlier - as I recall he spoke so very proudly of his boys and grandchildren. Sincerely, Gary & family. - Posted by: Gary Olsen & Family (Family friend ) on: Mar 19, 2018

Our heartfelt condolences from our family here in Niagara Falls and we share in your loss of a wonderful uncle, whom we have nothing but wonderful memories of. From the fun coffee card playing days to all the family get together times. Was always there for not only the visits "down the lane" from our first home on Ravelston but often to help us with some calamity or other that occurs with your first home. While far away, in the past years he was often on our minds and in our hearts and we missed "all the good times" we had with him and "the boys" who were always there to have a hockey game in the back lane with "the twins". We know he has now joined his "heavenly family" and will be singing with them and all the other angels in heaven. Our heartfelt love goes out to you all. We know he will continue to live within us and so many many others in that corner of our hearts for all those special people who can only be described as "very special." Love to you all. - Posted by: Dennis & Colleen Kichak (Nephew) on: Mar 16, 2018
