DONALD GEORGE SAUNDERS Peacefully on March 17, 2018, Donald George Saunders passed away at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 52. Don was born November 25, 1965 in Winnipeg. Don was a hard working, kind, caring man who put everyone before himself. Don graduated from Tec Voc. Don's first love was his 1969 Chevelle that he built with the help of his buddies Glenn, Barry and Brian. Don's second love was Heather Campbell and her two children, Jordan and Cody, who Don adored and loved so dearly. Don worked at Mariner Neptune for 30 years, where he had the pleasure of meeting the most wonderful people and making great friendships. Don will be sadly missed and always remembered by Heather, Jordan, Cody; brothers, Howard (Sue), Carl, Herb; sisters, Sylvia, Linda; nieces, Nicole (Johnny), Chiayne, Stefanie; nephews, David (Keeley), Cyle; great-nephew Jakob; great-niece Emma, as well as many cousins and friends. Don is predeceased by his parents, Fred and Myrtle. Many thanks go to the doctors and nurses on GD2 of Health Sciences Centre, as well as the doctors and nurses on 3rd floor East Wing of Riverview Health Centre for making Don's last days with us as comfortable as possible. Interment will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. with a Celebration of Life at 10:00 a.m. It is with deep sorrow that we say goodbye.
