Our sympathies to Pat & the family. I only heard about his passing today the 26th April. So by now you have somewhat settled into life without Eldon. Sorry to have missed the funeral. May God's comfort be with you as you cope. Eldon was a man who was fair to everyone. I will always remember Eldon. - Posted by: David Hiebert (Business Friend) on: Apr 26, 2018

We were so sorry to hear of Eldon's passing. We lived next door, we grew up together as neighbours until we were around 15 years old. We had many, many great times with him at St Germain school all through the 1950s. - Posted by: the Breitenstein boys-Ron, Roger, Joey & Ken (friends) on: Apr 21, 2018

I remember one early spring we decided to go fishing at Camp lake, so we took off in his old 52 or 53 flat head ford. We finally got to Lyons Lake parked the car and started walking on the portage , we got about half way before dark so we laid out our sleeping bags. That had to be one of the coldest nights, we didn't get much sleep on that wet snowy ground. We survived the night and carried on to Camp Lake where we found some dry firewood and you wouldn't believe how good that heat from the fire felt. We actually had steam coming off our pants standing by the fire. We fished until around 3 PM then headed back to the car and home without any fish, we didn't even have a bite. It took 3 days for our sleeping bags to dry once we got home. - Posted by: Bill Okolita (Went to school with Eldon and chummed around with him for several years) on: Mar 26, 2018

We spent a fair amount of time at the lake snowmobiling with Eldon. We had great fun times. We trust that God will be with the whole family as you go through this difficult time. Our prayers are with you. God bless. - Posted by: Bernie & Pauline Loiselle (Good Friends) on: Mar 25, 2018

We are so sorry to hear of Eldon's passing. Our prayers and sympathies are with you at this difficult time. We were there to see him on March 10th. Don't know if he was in the hospital at that time, we only talked to cleaning staff. Thinking of you! Dave & Dorothy - Posted by: Dave & Dorothy Hildebrand (friend) on: Mar 24, 2018
