  • I spent a fair bit of time at government house as a guest of Lenore and her former husband. I only found out now, since we have lost touch after the last election. She was wonderful, supportive and friendly. I’ll never forget hope she whisked me away from the squalor of the youth hostel to the opulence of government house. I’ll never forget my days there either. - Posted by: Michael Hyman (Friend) on: Jul 20, 2020

  • This is a long overdue tribute - as it has been on my desk for over a year - but felt strongly that I wanted to say something. I didn't know Lenore well at all - knew more OF her through the Bissett Community which still keeps in touch with those of us who still around - and her parents are buried nearby in the same cemetery as my parents - Chapel Lawn, Winnipeg. Reading the tributes, and knowing what I know about growing up in Bissett , as we both did, there is no doubt she will be and continues to be, missed, May her family and friends be forever supported in their grief and love. • Taught at Royal School for awhile with Lenore and remember when she was married to the Lt Governor and also read her book " Mikey". She had a reunion for those of us who had taught at Royal and it was evident that people were ever so happy to reunite with HER. Condolences to her family and friends. - Posted by: Trudy Johnson (former teaching associate) on: Dec 26, 2018

  • So sorry to find out about Lenore. Our paths crossed several different times over the last thirty years; most recently when Lenore was serving the people of the Fairford area. My life is better for knowing Lenore. - Posted by: Bill Armstrong and Debby Jablonski (Friends) on: Mar 25, 2018

  • Steph, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your sweet Mom. We were such great friends in Winnipeg. We had wonderful times together, learning how to line dance and splitting a cooler at the bar. Hugs to you and the rest of your family. xo - Posted by: Debbie Reid (Friend) on: Mar 25, 2018

  • I spent several years with Lenore in our Benedictine community...went to Teachers College together and taught at Holy Ghost School together. I am shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. She was an intelligent, passionate, interesting woman. Her laugh was distinctive. I wish her family and friends my sympathy. - Posted by: Mary Coswin (Friend) on: Mar 24, 2018
