ROBERT (BOBBY) WAYNE PETER QUINTO March 26, 1958 - March 23, 2018 It is with great sadness that we wish to announce the passing of Bobby Quinto, born in Toronto, ON, residing in Winnipeg, MB. With his family by his side he succumbed to his battle with cancer. He would do anything for anyone and had loved the sport of hockey his entire life, being a huge fan of both the Winnipeg Jets and Toronto Maple Leafs. Left to cherish Bobby's memory are his children, Robert (Carrie), Amanda (Chris) and Suzanne (Tyler); grandchildren, Zander, Kearra, Kendra, Jordan and Logan; siblings, Larry, Diane, Kenny and Paul; also, by many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, George Quinto and Clara Belhumer; and siblings, Lee and Betty Anne Quinto. There will be a family gathering in St. Lazare, MB in the summer months. We wish to thank the many doctors, nurses and other staff at the Health Sciences Centre who took great care of him in his last few days. In lieu of flowers, we ask to please send a donation to the Salvation Army to help others, as Bobby would have wanted. Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • We'll miss you at school, Bobby! I was so sad to hear of his passing, but then the staff at Salvation Army STEP/WKRP and I shared wonderful memories of Bobby, and I found myself laughing and feeling joyful. Bobby will be remembered for his awesome sense of humor and positivity in the face of adversity. Bobby, I am so proud of you and I will miss your smiling face and cackling laughter! - Posted by: Carley (Teacher) on: Nov 02, 2018

  • Bob was a great guy to me, hope the angels will watch over you my friend. Will see you when it's time. Thanks for being a good guy and sorry to his family. - Posted by: Kevin (Friend) on: Apr 02, 2018

  • I was a friend and neighbour to Bobby and Paul...and their cats Chubbers and Moochiebaby, when they lived on Agnes Street in Winnipeg. I continued to visit when they had moved. The times Bobby was away in the hospital and Paul was working I would take care of (babysit) the cats. I know Chubbers meant a great deal to Bobby and they shall miss each other tremendously. I will miss Bobby's smile, his jokes, his innuendo's, his laughter and the quiet ways about him. My thoughrs and prayers go out to his family in this very difficult time. Rest in Peace Bobble.... Love Lisa - Posted by: Lisa Reid (Friend/Neighbour) on: Apr 01, 2018
