EVELINE EVA CARRIERE (nee FOURNIER) May 20, 1931 - April 2, 2018 Peacefully, at the end of a beautiful life, surrounded by her children, grandchildren and prayer, Eveline Eva Carrière passed away on Easter Monday, April 2, 2018 at the age of 86. Prayers will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church, St. Laurent.   • To Bernard, Claude, Joanne, Guy, Serge and all of the Carrière family. I am so saddened for the loss of your mom. Ma tante Evelyne was such a vibrant, joyful lady. She always had a smile on her face and who could ever forget those striking, sparkling blue eyes! So much like my Dad’s! I was always so impressed when ma tante would walk all the way from her apartment over to my Dad’s apartment at Le Manoire. She’d go out for her afternoon stroll and make a pit stop at Dad’s for a little visit. Then she’d continue on her journey. So amazing!! Energetic and determined. It was always so nice to see her and talk with her. I also remember how she sang along at a family gathering at La Cathedrale a couple of years ago. Just like a song bird. And with a good sense of humour too!! I will always remember your mom with great fondness. She was a very gentle soul. I’m sure that she is having wonderful reunions with loved ones somewhere beautiful and peaceful. My Dad is there too and they are having a little visit once again.
