Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT CLINTON GRANT June 5, 1933 - April 3, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa. Albert was born and raised in Cornwall Ontario and joined the cadets at a young age until he enlisted in the RCAF on October 16th, 1951. In 1954 on a blind date he met his soon to be and love of his life wife Jean. Later they welcomed two kids Todd and Linda into their growing family and he retired from the RCAF in 1980 at the age of 47. He then became a Winnipeg transit driver for 10 years until he retired at the age of 57. He is survived by his loving wife Jean, children Todd and Linda, grandchildren and great-grandchild. Services will be held on Thursday April 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. When we transferred from Portage to Winnipeg in the RCAF I met Albert in 1954 and have been friends since. We were overseas the same time. Albert and Jean got transferred to Germany, we used to visit from France. - Posted by: Morris & Helen Randle (Friends) on: Apr 07, 2018
