DONALD ROBERT BONNE June 17, 1955 April 4, 2018 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather Donald Robert Bonne. Don will live forever in the hearts of his wife Carol; children Michelle (Michael) Erb and Nicole (Graham) Staniforth; adored grandchildren Ella, Ryland, Sadie and Devon; siblings Nancy (Terry) Frejuk, Ed, Susy Neumann, and Bob (Vicki); his mother Alice, many nieces and nephews and extended family and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father Robert. Don was the hardworking and successful owner of Mobile Brake and Clutch for 30 years. He was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles AERIE #3870 where he dedicated many volunteer hours and served as President in his final years. First and foremost was Don's love for his wife Carol and family; he cherished the time spent together and gave them many lasting memories. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed Belgian bowling and curling. A good friend to many, Don will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity, sense of humor and willingness to lend a helping hand. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Reception will follow at the St. Norbert Eagles Club, 3459 Pembina Highway. Winnipeg, Manitoba. Interment will take place at a later date. Forever loved. Forever remembered. • My heartfelt and deepest sympathy to you Carol and your family for your loss. Don was a very special fellow and will be missed by so many. My husband Ken and I had the privilege and pleasure of meeting both you and Don through our Thursday night get togethers at the Rockwood Army and Navy many years ago. Ken curled with Don in the Annual Army and Navy Bonspiels whether it was in Winnipeg, Portage la Prairie or Brandon and Ken always enjoyed his company, his curling skills and they had a lot of laughs on and off the ice together. The two of you made such a beautiful, fun loving couple and it was a pleasure to have met and known both of you back then. Words are very difficult at a time like this, I know as I experienced it 5 years ago when I lost my Ken to ALS. You are blessed with a loving family many, many friends and they will be a tremendous support to you going forward. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very difficult time. They say the truly good ones pass too soon and this is certainly true with Don. My deepest condolences to Carol, the Bonne family and their many friends.
