Condolences to the family upon Rob's passing. I curled with Rob in the Saturday Sliders league for over 10 yrs. He was a great guy on and off the ice. He shared tips on all aspects of the game and shared his ventures in the business world. He was very genuine and such a nice man all around. He will be missed. - Posted by: Marie Irvine (Fellow curler) on: Apr 14, 2018

It is very sad to hear of Rob's passing. My condolences to his loved ones. Rob and I curled together for many years. We shared a skip position in the Saturday Slider's Fun league until I left Winnipeg back in 2011. There were many fun times and happy memories. Sincere condolences to Marg and family. Rob was a long time member of our Saturday Sliders curling league. We enjoyed friendly banter on the ice and enjoyed the after game drink. Rob was always up for a game of curling and added to the great camaraderie and fun sportsmanship in our league. Rob spoke often of his sons and grandsons over the years and he was proud of them. Rob will be missed. - Posted by: Phyllis Page (Fellow curler) on: Apr 09, 2018

Condolences to Marg and the family. Rob was a great friend and I always appreciated his advice as a new district manager to GM in Winnipeg. We remained friends and enjoyed sharing outdoor experiences camping, etc. Rob shared with me on several occasions that his boys were the priority in life. I know there were some tough times, but Rob always put family first ... a value I appreciate and live by ... thanks Rob I will miss you. Your friend Al - Posted by: Al klatt (Friend) on: Apr 08, 2018

I met Rob thru General Motors and spent some time with him in Oshawa, Ontario. We would also meet at numerous National Dealer Conventions as we were transferred around Canada. I always found Rob a pleasure to talk to and enjoyed his sense of humour. We always enjoyed solving the worlds problems over a cold one. My condolences to his Family. He will be missed. - Posted by: Woodrow Green (General Motors co worker) on: Apr 07, 2018

We had lost contact of late, but we shared many an event and work experience. We roamed around the Prairie and North Western Ontario working for General Motors. It was years ago and we would meet up at various locations, meetings and events. Rob was always ready for some great chats, quick wit and friendly banter. The work always seemed to get done and we did have some fun. Much too early for you to leave Rob. Wish we had a chance to connect one time more time. My deepest condolences to his loved ones.
