Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE EDWARD WOOD June 7, 1937 - April 8, 2018 Peacefully, with family by his side, George passed away at Grace General Hospital on April 8, 2018, at the age of 80 years. George will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Iris (nee Kowalyk), his daughters Annmarie (Brian) McManus and Jodi (Ian Doig), grandchildren Caitlin, Bennett, Andrew and Beatrice, and many extended family and friends. Donations in George's memory may be made to the FortWhyte Alive at www.fortwhyte.org. A celebration of George's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at St. Mary Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg. Interment to follow.
