CLEMENS HERMANN MOCHE 1946 - 2018 On Saturday, February 17, 2018, Clem Moche of Winnipeg, MB passed away peacefully, at age 72, beloved father to Sabrina Moche and brother to Angela Orthodoxou (nee Moche) and Matthias Moche. He was predeceased in 1999 by his cherished wife, Evanthia Moche (nee Orthodoxou), due to cancer. Eva had emigrated from Cyprus to Winnipeg in 1972. Clem and Eva were later married in 1973. Clem will be missed by friends and relatives in both Cyprus and Canada. Clem immigrated to Winnipeg from Berlin in 1952, with his parents, Hermann and Editha Moche, and siblings, Angela and Matt. Clem attended St. Paul's High School and the University of Manitoba, receiving his B.Sc. in civil engineering in 1970. He went on to work for Manitoba Conservation as an environmental engineer for 40 years. Those who knew Clem enjoyed his sweet and humourous nature, as well as his pragmatism. He loved the outdoors, hiking and canoeing, and Sabrina fondly recalls camping trips to the Whiteshell with her parents. The family took road trips throughout Canada and the US, as well as exploring the Mediterranean. Clem was a science fiction enthusiast. He took an interest in the development of computer technology and, along with his father, he had a keen interest in photography. Clem was a handyman, with a skill in carpentry as well. Clem was a kind, generous, quietly-dedicated father who will be dearly missed. A private memorial will be held at a later date. As Clem had a soft spot for animals, donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Winnipeg Humane Society. NEIL BARDAL FUNERAL CENTRE 204-949-2200 neilbardalinc.com

I am sad to learn of Clem's passing. I worked with Clem in Manitoba Conservation for several years. He was great to work with and truly made a contribution to the province as a dedicated civil servant. My sincerest condolences to his family, especially to his daughter Sabrina who Clem was extremely proud of!! Tracey Braun - Posted by: Tracey Braun (Work Colleague) on: Apr 14, 2018
