JAMES (JIM) WILLIAM SHORE James (Jim) William Shore, beloved husband of Kathy Shore, passed away peacefully, and surrounded by his family, at Seven Oaks Hospital on Monday, April 9, 2018, at the age of 65 years. Besides his loving wife Kathy, Jim is survived by his daughters Jessica Bruneau (Mike) and Jodi Kwiecien (Adam); his grandchildren Braedon and Emma Humeniuk, Jada and Jace Bruneau, Paige, Kate and Isaak Kwiecien; brother Jack Shore, sisters Judy Lariviere and Jocelyn Taylor; sisters-in-law Donna Gault (Rob), Elaine Kovacevic (Alex), Arlene Eby (Mike); brother-in-law Gary Bremner; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Mary Shore; mother-in-law Yvonne Bremner; brother-in-law Larry Bremner (Bonnie); and nephew Jonathon Lariviere. Jim was born October 14, 1952 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was employed with the City of Winnipeg from April 1975 until he retired in August 2005. Jim loved taking his grandkids for late night walks by the river and playing "Monster" at the park. He loved playing and watching hockey. He started playing in his youth and continued recreationally until he retired his skates at 45 years old. He loved his trip to Mexico and was looking forward to returning. What he loved most of all was getting lost in the bustle of spending time with his family. Jim's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Fatoye and the nursing and office staff at Seven Oaks Oncology department. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Rm ON 1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
