OLGA FEDCHESEN Peacefully on April 10, 2018. Olga was predeceased by her parents Michael and Marie (Bludna) Fedchesen; sisters Ann Pruden (Alec), Helen Zarowny (Frank), Jean Marko (Metro), Sophie Sumka (Nick) and Pollie Fedchesen. Though many of them are lost to us she is survived by four generations of nieces and nephews. Born May 4, 1915 at Poplar Park, Manitoba, she helped out with the family farm while growing up. Ollie, as she liked to be called, led a long and productive life working in Toronto for many years as a seamstress. She moved back to Winnipeg to help her mother and worked for Jacob Fashions, Peter Nygard, Simmons, and others over the years. There was time spent with friends and family, gardening, knitting, many different crafts, and RVing across North America, especially after retirement. Thank you to all the staff at Parkview Place Personal Care Home for their goodwill and knowledgeable and kind care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
