ETHEL SCARROW 1928 - 2018 On Tuesday, April 10, 2018, after a courageous battle, our dear mother surrounded by her family peacefully went to Heaven. Mom, grandmother and great-grandmother found eternal peace with her Heavenly Father. Mom will be lovingly remembered for her faith, strength, grace, optimism, amazing family dinners, and love for her family. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Norman after 60 years of marriage; parents, John and Dora Grona; brothers, Ernie, Nick and John; sisters, Dora, Judy, Mary and Anne. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Cheryl and Lori (John); granddaughters, Krista and Aynsley; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Allyson; brothers, Metro (May), Bill (Jay) and Victor (Judy); sisters-in-law, Alice and Trudy; and many nieces and nephews. Our family wishes to thank the staff at Grace Hospital - Fifth Floor, Dr. Macek, and the staff at the Tuxedo Extendicare, especially these last months. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mom's memory to Grace General Hospital Foundation. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. April 18, 2018 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment to follow.
