My sincere condolences to you Eunice and family. George was one of my very favourite people to see at Chippawa especially on Remembrance Day. It was a joy to be in his company. He and dad were great friends. A very kind caring and compassionate man. I will think of him fondly always. He will be missed. My love to you Eunice at this sad time - Posted by: Kathleen Feancis (Friend) on: Apr 23, 2018

So sorry to hear of George's passing. He was a great fellow that I met at HMCS Chippawa when I attended Remembrance Day services there with my parents Stan and Betty Newman over the years and still do even though they are gone. My dad considered George a great friend. Dad was also a member of the White Ensign Club and served with George in the Club's Color Party, proudly carrying the Canadian Flag. George and I became closer when he made sure I knew about the things Dad would like to attend, Corn Roasts, White Ensign Meetings and other events. I appreciated his concern for dad until the very end. We would share information by email, as well as jokes and stories we found interesting. I will miss his cheery messages and send my sincere condolences to Eunice and family. Rest in Peace my friend. I was proud to have made your acquaintance. Hugs to YOU & Eunice. - Posted by: Leo Joseph Girouard (Friend) on: Apr 14, 2018
