ANTONIA (TONI) VANDERZWEEP (nee POTTER) 1937 - 2018 At the age of 81 Toni passed away in her sleep, at Grace Hospital, with her family by her side. Toni is survived by her husband Beint (Ben), of 59 years, and her children Pierre (Donna), Belinda, Julie (Glenn), Diana (Dennis), Tim (Shelly) and Marlene; also her grandchildren Jennifer, Alexis (Mark), Stephanie, Mitchel, Sherri, Patsy, Michelle, Jackie, Justin and Meghan. Survived by her brothers John (Jeanne) and Cees (Joan). Toni was predeceased by her parents Theodore and Bregitta Potter, brothers Nick, Jack, and sister Tini. Born in the Netherlands in 1937. Moved to Canada in 1952. In 1970 Toni and Ben built a farm in Balmoral, MB where they raised sheep. They retired to Stonewall in 1992. Toni enjoyed baking, needle point, stamp collecting and puzzling. She loved the company of her children and grandchildren. Thanks to all the nurses and doctors at the ICU at Grace Hospital, also all the staff at Stonewall Hospital. Prayers will be held on Thursday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Stonewall (315 - 2nd St. East) open to everyone. A private service will be held for the family. Ben, I am so sorry to read about your lovely wife passing away. I will say a prayer for her. Even if I did not meet her that often. I remember her well through the years. She was a very nice lady.
