ELSIE DENEWETH It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Elsie (nee Peril) Deneweth at the age of 87, on April 20, 2018. Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Gordon, Jo-Ann, Paula (Ross); six grandchildren, Joel and Sarah, Brad and Derek, Marissa and Jesse; two great-grandchildren, Boston and Marcus; siblings, Harry (Margaret), Richard (Linda), Leona (and late husband Marcel) and Geri (Cavan). Elsie was predeceased by husband Joseph Ernest, in 1985, and siblings, Joseph and Jean. Elsie worked at St. Boniface Hospital for 29 years as a Nurses Aide. Upon retirement, she continued to work as a Volunteer at St. Boniface Hospital. She was fond of reading, knitting, gardening, playing cards and cherished her time with her grandchildren. Elsie was a grateful member of Al-Anon for 48 years. Elsie wanted to thank the family of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davis for the love and kindness shown towards her. Elsie spent the rest of her life, forever grateful, dedicated to helping others as she had once been helped. The memorial service will be held at Christ the King Parish, 847 St. Mary's Road, on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Al-Anon Family Groups, 2621 Portage Ave., Ste. 107 - lower level, Winnipeg, MB R3J 0P7 Canada.
