Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY ANNE SCOTT (nee HENDERSON) December 27, 1953 - April 24, 2018 With her husband Alan and daughters, Alana and Alexandria by her side with some of her favourite music playing, Dorothy passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Dorothy was predeceased by her father Jim and mother Ivona. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Alan; daughters, Alana (Jeff) and Alexandria; in-laws, Mary and Walter; stepgrandsons, Damien, Jeremy, Evan and Oscar along with many more extended family members. Dorothy's flair for fashion and love of planning and hosting events over the years led to many great friendships. She enjoyed the last number of years living in Gimli and had a special place in her heart for her puppy Meme. The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the nursing staff and doctors at both the Johnson Memorial Hospital - Gimli and Health Sciences Centre. They would also like to thank the many ambulance attendants who caringly transported Dorothy on several occasions over the past year. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Dorothy's memory to Johnson Memorial Hospital - Gimli or any charity of choice. Honouring her wishes there will be no formal service, family and friends are invited to attend a come and go remembrance of Dorothy's' life on Sunday, May 6 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Lakeview Gimli Resort, 10 Centre Street, Gimli, MB. DOROTHY ANNE SCOTT (nee HENDERSON) Peacefully after a brief illness, Dorothy Scott, aged 64 years, of Gimli, MB, beloved wife of Alan, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 surrounded by family.
