MICHAEL YAREMA It is with great sadness to inform that Michael Yarema of West St. Paul, MB, and Rankin Inlet, NU passed away at the age of 66 years on April 29, 2018 at the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit, battling MS, lung and bone cancer. Mike was born in Whitemouth, MB and will forever be lovingly remembered by his wife Margaret, five children, Aaron, Randy Mercer, Steven, Tera and Stephanie, beloved pets, Penny and Masi, and by his sisters, Tanis Bennett (Mark) and Cherie Gallardo (Helen Staines) and his in-laws, Raymond Mercer (Angelina), Holly Mercer (Robert), Dyan White (Larry), and Raymond Mercer (Charmaine), and by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Mike was predeceased by his father Steve, mother Helen, and two brothers, Murray and Mark. Mike was a Heavy Duty Mechanic by trade, loved the Arctic, Toronto Maple Leafs, Nascar, Chevy Trucks, classic cars, reading, and darts. He was a kind, funny, and patient man who made friends quickly and was well liked and loved by anyone who met him. A visitation will take place on Thursday, May 3, at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Cremation will take place at a later date.
