Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • Hey guys, I'm only a stone's throw away. But my condolences. I wake up some mornings and look at my own Father, and wonder, how you guys feel waking up and not seeing him there anymore. Some of the memories I have of my uncle, were going over to see the newest bike he'd repaired. Or when he was going to Pony Coral to take out the Pontiac. Around this time of year though, I recall him having to babysit, Buddy the dog. He used to walk over a few times a week.. It was years ago but it was like it was yesterday in the middle of winter. He used to bring the dog by and just talk or see what's going on. I can always remember before he would leave he'd say, "it's cold out side, I need a bit of anti-freeze!" And to us it meant Uncle Jim needs a good shot usually Veccia Romania. Usually one when he arrived and, "I'll need a half shot for the road" Which obviously meant half shot before he goes. My condolences to you all. I'll see you when I see you. - Posted by: Carmine Fiorillo (Nephew) on: Nov 24, 2019
