DENNIS WIZNIAK Dennis Wizniak, aged 77, lost his valiant battle to cancer on May 2, 2018. He is survived by his wife Evelyn; sons, Jason (Jodey), Blair (Beth) and wonderful grandson Benjamin; sister Sharon; brother Douglas (Elizabeth). He is predeceased by his mother Lucille (Chris Stoppel), father Harry, and sister Gale. Dennis was born on June 7, 1940 in St. Rose, MB. He worked as a truck driver for 50 years. He was a wonderful husband, loving father, and adoring "Baba". Dennis married the love of his life on June 7, 1969. He loved golfing, hockey and all sports. He will be remembered as a kind person, and caring family man, who loved sharing his famous stories with family and friends. Funeral service to be held at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Cooks Creek, MB, on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to thank staff for their compassionate care at CancerCare Manitoba, Concordia Emergency and Intensive Care Unit. Dennis is the father in law to my daughter Beth Wizniak. In all my recollections I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone or anything. He definitely enjoyed his Winnipeg Jets and golf, along with his daily visits to Birds Hill Park. A lifelong companion to Evelyn and a loving grandfather to Benjamin Dennis his grandson who shares his name.
