RICHARD (DICK) WILLOWS May 28, 1926 - April 24, 2018 Peacefully on April 24, 2018, Dick went home to be with the Lord. Dick was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Helen, his parents, Madge and Octavius, his brother Bruce and sister Megan. Dick is survived by his sister Weida (Ken) Murphy; sister-in-law Mary Wreggitt; his children, Jan (Don) Copeland and their children, Melanie Bayluk, Wes (Kari) and Jeff (Lisa); Dennis (Joanne) Willows and their children, Michelle (Rick) Noble, Dawn (Ray) Lesage, Carl (Ashley), Sarah (Blake) and Rebekah (Harley); Debbie (Gerald) Lyle and their children, Chad (Brandi) and Jordan (Andrea), 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Dad started his married life in Estevan working for the CNR and returned to Winnipeg to manage a store for Firestone. His career took him to Esso and from there he moved with his wife to Selkirk, Manitoba and became an Esso franchise owner. While in Selkirk he served on city council and Triple S Business Development. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church for many years and served his Lord in several different capacities. After Helen passed away, Dad made the decision to move back to Estevan to be with his son and family. Dad was more than just a father to his children. He was a much loved patriarch to all of the extended family. Dad, along with Mom, were our prayer warriors and a source of encouragement to all of us. He enjoyed the outdoors especially camping, boating, fishing, and water skiing. His time at their cabin on the Churchill River held very fond memories. Thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Joseph's Personal Care Home in Estevan for their compassionate and loving care of Dad. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenedenmemorial.ca Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111
