JAMES (JACK) PATERSON April 12, 1942 May 3, 2018 With deep sorrow, we regret to announce the peaceful passing of Jack, at the Selkirk General Hospital. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Dwayne (Marina), Darryl (Kim); stepdaughter Deanna (Curtis); grandsons, Jeremy, Ryley, Kyle and Jason; sister Bonny (Fred); beloved dog Cassie, and many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Marie; spouse Millie Thompson; and grandson Aric. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. A Come & Go Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018, between 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home & Cemetery, Hwy. 1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg, MB. Always good-natured and willing to help in our neighborhood, whether repairing things mechanical or sharing an after work social gathering at his shop on Plessis Road. Jack was an old school kind of guy that had a wealth of practical country living experience that enabled him to look at a problem and figure out the best way to tackle it.
