Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARRY ALLAN BENZELOCK December 12, 1953 May 7, 2018 In peace and with his family and friends around him, on May 7, 2018, Barry Allan (Bunzy) Benzelock passed away at Health Sciences Centre, in Winnipeg. Barry will be forever loved and his memory treasured by his beloved wife Carol and her children, Tracy (Bernie), Brian (Sherri), Keri-Ann (Rob) and grandchildren, Colton, Matthew, Kaidyn and Corbin; his brother Don (Linda); nephews, Robert, Richard (Tara), Steven (Erin) and extended family throughout Manitoba and beyond. Barry was predeceased by his parents, Peter (Sonic) and Anastasia (Nettie). Barry was born in Winnipeg but lived in various parts of Manitoba and Saskatchewan through the years. He enjoyed travelling and cruising with the love of his life Carol and their dogs. They spent many winters together in Phoenix. Barry was an avid race fan and enjoyed catching live races whenever and wherever he could. He had a love for cars and a talent for fixing them up and selling them. He was a member of "The Camaro Club" with his close friends who enjoyed going out with him for some "official" business, which mostly consisted of camaraderie and laughter. Barry was a great cook and even won several chili cook-offs in Phoenix. Barry was easy to get to know and love, which is why he had so many lifelong friends. In accordance with Barry's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 with family and close friends. Barry and his family (parents and brother) lived next door to us on Parr and St. John's. He was always busy with his buddies in the garage tinkering on vehicles and just enjoying his friends.
