HELEN (ELMA) CONSTABLE On Monday, May 14, 2018, Elma passed away at her residence, at the age of 82 years. Elma will be missed dearly by her friends and family. She is survived by her husband George; son Peter; sisters, Rena (John), and Sadie (Ronnie). Born in Dunfermline, Scotland, Elma met her future husband George and was married in 1956. Soon after they moved to Winnipeg, to follow the Canadian dream. They laid down roots for the first few years in the north end of Winnipeg, where she went to work for Claylaw Jewellers, with George working at Winnipeg Transit, where he remained for the next 33 years. In 1974 they moved to Valley Gardens, where they have lived ever since. Elma had enormous energy and was always seen outside tending to her gardens and yard. She and George enjoyed spending time exploring Winnipeg's many parks, the Forks, and of course Lockport for a Skinner's hot dog. At Elma's request, there will be no service.
