RAFAEL GARCIA DE LA HUERTA June 5, 1941 - May 3, 2018 It is with immense sadness and heartache, that after a six-month battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, we announce the passing of husband and father, Rafael Garcia de la Huerta, at Health Sciences Centre, May 3, 2018, with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife Adriana; daughters, Claudia (husband Robert Huculak, daughter Isabela) and Marcia (husband Remi Landes, daughter Lucy and son Judah); as well as extended family in Chile, the U.S. and Norway. As per his final request, a private ceremony was held, however friends and relatives are encouraged to share in a photo-biography, stories and condolences for the family by visiting Rafael's tribute page at IntegrityDeathCare.com. La verdad que conoci a Rafael hace muchos años en Winnepeg de la cual nacio una gran amistad de amigo y tambien de familia. Tuve la oprtunidad de compartir con el cuand me visito a mi casa en Calgary donde me mostro un documental de su historia quedo de mandarme una copia pero nunca mas lo vi. Siempre l;o busque atraves de las redes pero sin suerte. y hoy buscandolo de vuelta para conversar con el me aparece que fallecio en Mayo para mi una gra pena porque no tuve la oprtunidad de decir adios.
