Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I had the opportunity to work with Walter on quite a few occasions up at Jenpeg.I always found working with Walter to be on my most memorable list. He always had a story to share and was a very funny guy to be around. It is with a sad heart that i am writing this for he was truly a pleasant, caring individual. I remember him and his Honda mt 250 motorcycle. I had a 500 cc Honda,so we took off one evening to go see what was left of a crashed plane that had crashed back in the 70's.We went through the bush, followed the power line through the muskeg.Got stuck a few times, but we made it to the crash site.He never gave up he really wanted to get to the site.Very remarkable man. Rest in peace Walter and my deepest condolences to the family. Sorry that I missed his memorial. - Posted by: Richard Frost (Jenpeg co- worker) on: Jul 25, 2018
