TRUDY LYNN AUSMAN May 20, 1950 - May 19, 2018 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, at the Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is survived by her daughters, Verna (John) and Michelle (Denis), sister Carol (Gerry), stepson Craig (Nathalia); grandchildren, Dominic, Cole, Jeremy, Amy, Jonathon and Melanie; nieces, Nicole and Danielle, and many cousins, friends and extended family. Trudy was predeceased by her husbands, Clyde Stone and Larry Ausman; as well as her parents, Jean and George Krampetz. Trudy was born and raised in Winnipeg on Rutland Street and later moved to Duffield Street for the remainder of her childhood years. She attended Linwood School, Deer Lodge Junior High and graduated high school at St. James Collegiate. She went on to become a registered nurse and started working in adolescent psychiatry at the Health Sciences Centre. She went back to school with her sister Carol in the 1990s for evening classes to earn her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Manitoba. Trudy spent the majority of her career working in long-term care facilities in Winnipeg. In 2011, her first two grandchildren were born and her life took on a whole new meaning. She spent the last seven years of her life dedicated to playing with and babysitting all four grandchildren. She always said they were her reason for living. In her final years of working and after her retirement in 2012, she travelled to many different places around North America and China, both with friends and on her own. Trudy truly enjoyed travelling and seeing new and interesting places. In her last few years, she had dedicated a large part of her time to the condominium board at West Country Village, where she was the president until April of this year. While living in this condo, she developed many dear relationships with friends within the complex. Trudy was a loving mother and sister who would have done anything for her children and grandchildren, and she will be dearly missed. A celebration of her life will take place on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This will be an informal come and go celebration at the club house of West Country Village, 110 Quail Ridge Road, Winnipeg, MB, R2Y 2E9, for people to come and pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. NEIL BARDAL FUNERAL CENTRE 204-949-2200 neilbardalinc.com

I wish to send my sincere condolences to the family of Trudy Ausman. I spent many years working with Trudy at both the Queapelle project and at Deer Lodge Centre. My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. Dianne Palmer - Posted by: Dianne Palmer (Co worker&friend) on: May 28, 2018
