  • We were very saddened by the news of Peter's passing. Peter was always a person to step forward with a smile and ready to help if you needed help with something..particularly electrical based. We always sought Peter out when, after he retired from Hydro, he worked at Home Depot and we needed assistance finding a item or advice on how to fix something. May the good Lord give you comfort and strength in the days ahead. Our deepest condolences to you Shirley and your family. - Posted by: Ronald and Judy Smith (church friends) on: May 25, 2018

  • Please accept our sympathies. When you called us to let us know of Peter's passing my mind was racing over the many events we shared as families. We will write you a letter more fully expressing our sorrows and joys and to share memories of a wonderful time we had together from the later sixties to 1981 when we moved to BC. As Christians we know that Peter is saved for eternal life with Jesus. We love you and until we meet again we offer our hand and hugs. Please accept our apologies for not being able to attend the memorial service. Sincerely, Michael - Posted by: Michael and Karin Neustaedter (Friends) on: May 25, 2018

  • Peter was my uncle. I will always remember him as a kind and gentle man. My condolences to Aunt Shirley and my cousin Trevor and his wife Heather and family. Scott. - Posted by: Scott (and Nadine) Mazinke (Nephew) on: May 25, 2018

  • I remember one of the last times I saw Peter, I reached out to shake his hand. He scoffed and said "We can do better than that" and he then gave me a bear hug. To me this moment was 100% Peter Knip: gentle, kind, and to the point. His friendship and quiet, gentle humour will be sorely missed. - Posted by: Linda Guest (Family Friend) on: May 24, 2018

  • Our deepest condolences to you Shirley and Trevor and your families. May God comfort you and hold you in his tender care. If you need help with anything, just say the word and we'll be there. - Posted by: Bruce & Monica Perron (friends) on: May 24, 2018
