FRED PETRUGA August 20, 1913 - May 13, 2018 Fred Petruga passed away, on May 13, 2018, at the age of 104. He was predeceased by his wife Olga (Ollie) on March 15, 2001. Fred will be sadly missed by his daughters, Lynda Thompson (Herb) and Donna Gylywoychuk (Ernie); grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Shelley Germscheid (Terry), Taylor, MacKenzie and William, Colleen LeDrew, Edyn and Brennan, Kim Hodges (Greg), Kyra and Lara, Cory Gylywoychuk (Breanne), Connor, Chloe, Brooklyn and Brody. Fred worked as a Winnipeg Transit Operator until September of 1978, when he drove his last run. His life was his family and music. The family would like to thank the staff at the Maples Personal Care Home for all the kindness and care shown to Fred. A private interment has already taken place.
