Date of Passing: May 19, 2018
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROLYNE JACKSON (nee MAGILL) Carolyne Jackson (nee Magill) passed away peacefully on May 19, 2018 at the age of 72. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and countless friends. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 53 years, Gary; her children and grandchildren: Arlene and Brad with daughter, Willow; Brent and Penny with daughter, Brianna; her brother, Connor and sister in-law, Brenda; her sister, Irene and brother-in-law, David. Carolyne was a loving person who made it her personal goal to create amazing memories for everyone around her. She loved to spend time with her family, casually at home, at the family cottage and she especially enjoyed the family vacations shared with her adult children to San Francisco and Maui. Carolyne cherished the many neighbourhood friendships she had, which included many coffee dates, parties and celebrations throughout the span of 50 years living in the same house. She enjoyed spending a number of winters in Mesa as part of retirement. Carolyne was a talented artist and decorator. She dabbled in different mediums over the years, and did not hesitate to try something new. She had a keen eye for creating unique and comfortable living spaces which always tied together practicality, unique theme and her trademark hint of whimsy. She was the family advisor when it came to any home decoration decisions. Carolyne enjoyed working as a florist, which provided her another creative outlet for people to enjoy her talent. Carolyne loved to plan and host celebrations for her friends and family. She enjoyed decorating the table and creating the theme almost as much as preparing the food, both were always amazing. To her granddaughters's delight, the house was magically filled with rabbits in every room at Easter and snowmen at Christmas. She created special memories with them through her annual gingerbread house decorating. As well as countless sleepovers and lots of baking. Her Christmas gifts were wrapped with tailored perfection with handmade bows. She spent hours on these details, even if the gift itself was a simple tea towel, it was always about creating an experience. Carolyne had a wonderful sense of humour and loved to laugh. She demonstrated great strength and resilience over the past five years. She will be missed greatly. According to Carolyne's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Carolyne's honour. "When a loved one becomes a memory, A memory becomes a treasure. Treasure the memories." We are so sad by the loss of our dear friend. Carol and I had so many great times so much laughter. If it was over just coffee or a glass of wine we shared our dreams. We had so much fun, when we had The Sandwich Service. She was very talented in everything she did. From her flowers to her paintings and decorating and so much more. We will miss her so much, Love from us - Posted by: Elaine and Bob Buccini (Friend) on: May 26, 2018
