Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLYNDA WILSON (nee BREMNER/MATTERN) November 1, 1947 - May 25, 2018 Suddenly on May 25, 2018, at her residence in Selkirk, MB, Lynda Wilson, aged 70 years, passed away. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard; parents, Donald and Gloria, and brother George. Lynda is survived by her brothers, Brian and Gerald; sister Bridget (Adrian); nephew Jordan; niece Shelby; close friend Valerie, and her adopted sister Jean. Lynda was born in Winnipeg, MB and moved to Winnipeg Beach at a young age to live with the Mattern family. She married the love of her life Leonard in 1981 and continued to live in Winnipeg Beach and later in life moved to Gimli, MB. After Leonard passed away in 2005, Lynda ended up residing in Selkirk. She loved gardening, swimming, colouring, doing puzzles, playing bingo, biking, and getting her hair and nails done. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, MB. I remember your visits to the farm with the Mattern's and the rest of your family and our visits to Winnipeg Beach. Every year there was a family reunion at a different Aunt's place or Jack's place. Every one would bring food and we would have the most delicious pot luck meals ever served.
