Her creative adventure first opened on May 28, 1958 and the studio closed on May 23, 2018. Cancer was the cause of closure. This unfortunate series of events unfolded with a measure of dignity, grace and typical Dehod stubbornness. Her children Leighton and Elsbeth; husband John White will carry on. Janice was loved and will be missed by many dear friends and family. In lieu of flowers, please visit a Manitoba gallery or craft store and buy some Manitoba Arts and Crafts in support of her fellow artists or plant some flowers. Janice was a Blythe spirit in a beautiful package. In her gentle way, she was a creative force of nature, wrapped in kindness and caring.
