JOCELYNE MARIE TRUDEAU (nee VERRIER) It is with deep sorrow the family announces the passing of Jocelyne Trudeau on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the age of 54. Jocelyne was born in La Salle, Manitoba on January 3, 1964 to John and Henriette Verrier. Joce married her childhood sweetheart Maurice Trudeau. Joce displayed her strong love for Mo early on as she would double-ride her dirt bike with her brother Paul from La Salle to St. Adolphe to be with him. They married in July, 1985 and bought a piece of property along the La Salle River. This new home was like a blank canvas for Joce where she could display her creativity in a way only she could. With Joce's green thumb and Mo's skills in building, they created a beautiful home for their family. In August of 1992, Danielle was born bringing a new level of happiness to Joce and Mo and in August, 1995 Leanne was born and thus their family was complete. Joce's love and devotion for her girls was exceptional and is the reason why they have grown into such independent, strong and caring individuals. Joce enjoyed nurturing things to grow and had a special talent with gardening, plants and flowers. She was a gentle, giving and kind soul who will be dearly missed by everyone. Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vermillion Colony. For directions, head south past La Salle, stay on Hwy. 330 for five kms, and follow the school buses.
