Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNETTE MICHALINA THORNSON Peacefully, after a long illness, Jeannette Michalina Thornson passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018, at the age of 84 years. Left to survive Jeannette are her sons, Wayne and Dale; brother Tony (Maureen); brothers-in-law, Len (Margaret) Thornson and Doug (Vicki) Thornson; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Rose and William Rybak; her loving husband and soulmate Barry and her son Gerald. Jeannette was blessed with many lifelong friends and held a special spot in her heart for the Metz, Schaefer and Liebert families. A memorial service will be held for Jeannette on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in Abundant Life Lutheran Church, 3486 Raleigh Street, East St. Paul. I was saddened to learn of Jeannette's death. My thoughts are with her sons Wayne and Dale at this sad time. I have many great memories of Jeannette from our Ian Place neighbourhood days. Those were fun years as we raised our families from babies to teenagers. When the Thornsons moved, it was always nice whenever we had a chance meeting and took the time to chat and catch up on family news. I am sure that her sons will find comfort in the many happy memories they have collected over the years. My most sincere condolences to them.
