JEAN STARODUB It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Starodub announces her passing, after a brief illness on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, in 1973. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Terri, Joe (Theresa), Cindy (Derek) and Bill (Marie), her seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Jean was a loving wife, spirited mom and grandma. Her family was her universe. She lived independently, driving her car and enjoying her home, until her recent illness didn't allow. Her loss will be deeply felt by everyone who knew her. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 18, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., at Notre Dame Catholic Church (269 Jemima St., Selkirk, MB) with Father Barry Schoonbaert officiating. Interment will follow at East Selkirk Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are kindly appreciated to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba, 452 Dovercourt Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1G4 or to a charity of your choice.
