Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER FROESE 1928 - 2018 Peacefully on June 15, 2018, Peter went to rest in his heavenly father's arms. Peter was born in Haugue, SK on November 6, 1928, moved to Winnipeg in 1948 and married Alice Reimer on July 20, 1958. Peter is survived by his wife Alice, his four children, Colleen (Dale), Janice (Norm), Don (John) and Rachel (Glenn), his four grandchildren, Nicole, Briema (Juan), Bethany (Roger) and Lauren (Dylan), and his three great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Lorenzo and Althea. It is with great sadness we say farewell to Peter, Dad and Papa, but we also take comfort in the knowledge that he is finally at peace. Our thanks to the staff at the Victoria Hospital and Deer Lodge Tower 7 for their compassion and care these last few months. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB. A reception will follow. Peter was a man I truly admired. He lived his faith and never judged. He accepted me into his family when I was about the last type of person he would have sought after. He was never anything but kind to me. When people talked about "real Christians", he was who I thought of. A man of quiet strength and humble wisdom. I offer my sincere condolences to his family.
