Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLY LINDA RAPKE May 30, 1922 - June 14, 2018 It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our Aunt Lilly. She was born in Grahamdale, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg with her parents before the 1950 flood. Lilly was predeceased by her father Gottfried, mother Anna, brothers, Louis and Walter, sisters, Elsie, Hilda, Ester, Johanna and Wyntina (Valerie), nephews, Garry and Wayne (Butch), brothers-in-law, Oscar and Angus and sisters-in-law, Peggy and Mae. She is survived by nephews, nieces, godchildren, family, and many friends. The family would like to thank Lion's Personal Care Centre, 320 Sherbrooke Street, floors two and four for their care and compassion during Aunty's stay. The service will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Pallbearers will be Lilly's nephews and nieces, Raymond, Wayne, Nicole and Chantal. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the charity of your choice. Lil was a very kind and friendly person - I worked with her at MHSC. We kept in touch with monthly lunches after her retirement, until she went into personal care. I still think of her often. - Posted by: joyce thompson (friend) on: Jun 20, 2018
