DARIO A. PALLEVA February 25, 1933 - June 16, 2018 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful man, Dario. Dario, a born artisan, skillfully mastered everything he turned his attention to. He was a champion roller skater, and along with his wife Barb became roller dance champions. His talents also included race car driving, mechanics, a woodwork artist, chef and gardener: he did all with admirable talent and perfection. He demonstrated a passion for life in all his pursuits and always had a funny quip to share that would put smiles on many faces. Dario has been a fixture at Shooters Family Golf Centre since 1994 and was instantly family. Dario and his sidekick Monty could be found driving his golf cart around Shooters. On days when he wasn't working, Dario spent his time visiting with his many friends and Shooters customers. In recent years he did some travelling with his companion Carol where they enjoyed Texas for a few months in winter. Many of Dario's friends will treasure his handcrafted wooden gifts for many years to come. Dario was fiercely independent and kind. He was a self made man who lived on his own terms and left us on his own terms. His love was generous to all those he cared for. Dario was predeceased by his wife Barbara in 2003. He will be loved always and missed deeply. If so inclined donations in Dario's memory can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
