Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTOM PETER PRIESTLEY December 4, 1960 - January 12, 2018 Suddenly Tom died at his residence in Winnipeg at the age of 57 years, beloved son of Lorna Priestley. Left to mourn his loss besides his mother Lorna, brothers, Bob and family, Jim (Kelly) and family, David (Michelle) and family and Douglas (Katherine) and family. Uncle Harold, Uncle Wilfred (Diane), Uncle Ken (Carol) and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Richard, uncle Norman and aunt Stephanie, aunt Sophie and uncle Chris, sister-in-law Traci and grandpa and grandma Pete and Mary Stepushyn. Tom was born in Winnipeg and grew up and went to school in Teulon. Tom worked with the city first as a lifeguard, then joining the Assiniboine Zoo - as a zookeeper. He loved working with the animals - camels, monkeys, deer, musk ox, bears etc. He also loved working with the exotic birds where he worked for 25 years. Later he worked at can-services, recreation store for 17 years until his death. Tom loved playing sports skiing and rugby and was a dedicated Winnipeg Blue Bomber fan. Tom's constant companion was his dog Jasmine, who led him to meet many friends on his walks in the dog parks. Tom will be greatly missed; his wisdom, great political debates, views on sports, His discussions on or advice on everything from buildings to foods. His technical knowledge on everything like computers, where he could always be depended for his help. Together we could have saved the world. Thank you to his co-workers and all his friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. As per family, cremation took place and a Celebration of Life will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Teulon (# 7 Highway) on Saturday, June 30 at 2:00 p.m. Rest in Peace - You'll always be remembered Ken Loehmer Funeral Service 204-886-0404
