Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET SHEPHERD March 10, 1925 - June 20, 2018 Peacefully, following a stroke, Margaret passed away at Tuxedo Villa Personal Care Home. Born in Letham, Angus, Scotland, Margaret immigrated to Winnipeg in 1950 and made this place her home. Predeceased by her husband, Grant Shepherd, she is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Moira Somers (Trewin) and Linda King (Brad); grandchildren, Sean (Alana), Lindsay (Chris) and Ian (Sam); and great-grandchildren, Ainsley, Liam, Isla, Callum and Fiona. Margaret also leaves many relatives in Scotland, England and Australia. "Granny" (as she was known to all) will be fondly remembered for her sense of humour, making the best porridge, and her love of a cup of tea. The simple pleasures in life are what made her happy. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Tuxedo Villa for the wonderful, loving care provided.
