• Great memories of the games we played with Barrie pitching. I can still visualize Barrie calling the infielders off when he was catching a pop up. Then the stories would fly at the St. James after a game. One of the better story tellers I ever knew. Barrie will be missed by many of the Touring All Stars and golfing friends. • Barrie was a true gentleman in every respect. His story-telling is legendary. My most endearing memory of Barrie is when he turned up at my Mother's funeral, many years after she had left Campbell Street. Polite, well-mannered, respectful.
