Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySANDRA LESCHYSHYN July 7, 1949 - June 27, 2018 Left to cherish Mom's memory are spouse, Carl Blahey; children, Brian, Melanie (Jody) and Kyle (Denise); grandchildren, Logan, Jordyn, Liam, Leah, Jase, Jody Leo; stepdaughters, Kelly (Scott), Jennifer (Paul) and Stephany; stepgrandchildren, Andrew, Cody, Morgan, Melissa and Michaela; brothers, Melvin and Warren Johnston. Mom was predeceased by her husband Leonard Leschyshyn, and parents, Raymond and Agnes Johnston. Mom attended Framnes School and then Arborg School. She worked at Chicken Chef for 25 years. When not working Mom enjoyed cutting her grass and spending time with her grandchildren and friends. Mom always looked forward to the holidays and spending time with the family. Mom made many good friends from school and her years at Chicken Chef. Mom was President of The Ladies Auxiliary in Arborg and she took that role to heart. Mom always had something cheeky to say. Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 161 306 Main Street, Arborg, MB. We welcome the sharing of stories as we honour our mom's life. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Ladies Auxiliary Board in Arborg. So very sorry to hear of Sandra's passing. Makes me think of our younger days in Framnes and all the fun we had just being kids. Wish we had spent more time together in recent years.
