OLGA OLESKI (nee BILENKY) Olga (Ollie) Oleski passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Seven Oaks General Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Wasyl and Ewdokia Bilenky; sister Alice and brother-in-law John Anthony, and her precious pets, Chloe, Tibby, Nico, Kramer and Abbey. She is survived by her daughter Daria and son-in-law Alan Poitras; her sister Natalie Byrne and family; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She also leaves behind her remaining pet Lexi. Olga was born in Winnipeg and resided in the North End her entire life. For 20 years she was employed at The Donut House of which she had many fond memories. Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. A private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Mary the Protectress, 820 Burrows Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2X 0R2, or to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.
