ONGE (nee LAPOINTE) Peacefully at the Actionmarguerite - St. Boniface, on Sunday, July 1, 2018, Flore St. Onge passed away at the age of 97 years. She is predeceased by her husband Gabriel St. Onge, son-in-law Larry Desrochers, daughter-in-law Judy St. Onge, granddaughter Janelle Cloutier and 11 of her siblings. Flore leaves to cherish her memory her nine children: Lucille Desrochers, Claudette (Eddy) Vermette, Denise (Ray) Burnell, Raymond (Annette), Marielle Cloutier, Julien, Valerie (Guy) Sylvestre, Pat (Blair) Drabnik and Doreen; her 23 grandchildren; her 46 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Véronique Jacques as well as numerous niece and nephews. The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Actionmarguerite - St. Boniface for their care and compassion shown to our mother. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6 at the Précieux-Sang Church, 200 Kenny Street. Viewing will take place at 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Auntie Flore was the most delightful lady! I loved visiting from the US, It was such a special time. She & Gabe made family & life joyous and happy. I am deeply saddened. Mom was truly a woman of God.. cherished her family.. showed us what a family is truly about.. meals at the table every night.. family gatherings every important day..
