PEARL BAKALUK September 12, 1915 - July 3, 2018 Peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, Pearl passed away at Red River Place at the age of 102. Pearl was predeceased by her husband Mike, her sons, Gerald (De-Leta) and Ray (Jackie), her brothers, Bill and George, and sisters, Lillian, Kay and Mary. She is survived by her daughter Marlene (Rob) Piasecki and granddaughters, Amy and Marli. Mom loved the simple things in life, family, friends, music and cooking. Her garden was her pride and envy of many who would pass by and comment on her vegetables and the red poppies that would grow among them. Your song may have ended, but your melody lingers on. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, Manitoba with a viewing held prior to the service. The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the staff at Red River Place for the care and concern shown to Pearl.
