It was honour and blessing to my life as I grew up to have Ken as mentor as most of us did who worked with Ken. Ken taught me to be serious in what I do without taking anything seriously - to take responsibility while never admitting you've done so. I remember Ken's shop steward years and sitting with Ken while I getting points and read his grievance letter which he wrote and I said to Ken "wow" I had no idea you so well written and well spoken on these matters. To which he replied, I'm not, I just copy this phrase from one piece of paper to another piece of paper so I don't have to do any real work. Then Ken started laughing and I did same for next ten minutes straight anybody who knows Ken knows what I'm talking about he had that effect on us. The laughter in his personality was a gift. I grieve with you. Ken's family and Ken's friends. Ken was that person you could call your friend and in turn he would call you his friend truly we all lost someone special and I thank the Lord for the time he allowed us all to spend with Ken and placing him in ours lives and the blessings knowing Ken brought about. - Posted by: John Hazen (Friend) on: Jul 09, 2018
