Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY ANN (MAY) BAHRYCHUK December 18, 1922 - July 8, 2018 It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Mary (May) Bahrychuk, at the age of 95, after a brief illness. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Bonita, Gregory (Monique) and Richard; her grandchildren, Blair and Colin; her sister Ella Duke. She was predeceased by her husband Sam, her parents, Fanny and Steve Ogryzlo, her brother Eugene Ogryzlo, and her sisters, Rose Karpa and Kay Pilot. Widowed at 49 years of age, she successfully continued the produce business with the help of her sons. Well into her 90s, you could drop by her McPhillips Street and Storie Road vegetable stand and still find her gardening, selling fresh greens or her homemade canning and always eager for a chat. Her work ethic was truly admirable and although she loved caring for her family, her garden and her home, she still found time to enjoy travelling Europe; bowling, square dancing and spending time with the family. Interment to follow at the All Saints Cemetery, 4515 Main Street, West Saint Paul at a later date. My grandmother was friends with May and worked with her in the garden for many years. I I have many fond memories coming to the vegetable stand with her and buying fresh produce and staying for a visit.
