BRYAN PETER PAGE Bryan Page died gently as he lived, Monday July 9, 2018 at 82 years of age. He will be profoundly missed by his loving wife and best friend Jean; two sons, Ian (Helen) and Grant (Janet); grandchildren, Katherine, Colin, Sophie and Evan. Bryan was born in England where as a young man he developed a knack for mechanics and served in the RAF which took him too many parts of the Middle East. With the love of his life by his side and young son Ian, they made the long journey by ship to their new home in Canada. He worked hard to build a comfortable life for his family and several years later Grant was born. Above all else, family was his pride and joy and his eyes always lit up when his grandchildren came to visit. He was quick to share his sense of humour, a most cherished memory of his grandkids. He loved watching sports on TV, playing a competitive game of lawn bowling and volunteering with the Lions Club and most notably, he was the man who could fix anything! Second only to his love of family was his love of cars driving them, fixing them, tinkering and fine tuning his latest purchase. One of his prized possessions was his E-Type Jaguar which even made its way to England and back. He and Jean enjoyed a long and happy retirement rich with travel, a move back to England and then out to Vancouver Island where he volunteered with the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre. The last few years were spent back in Winnipeg where he enjoyed being close to family. A private family memorial has been held. The family would like to thank the staff at the Charleswood Care Centre for taking care of Bryan in his final months. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Parkinson's Society of Canada or The Movement Disorder Clinic.
