ROBERT WAYNE FAYKES On Sunday, July 15, 2018, after a recent hurdle in life, Robert decided to join his parents, Tessie and Peter for eternal love, peace and rest. He left behind family and friends to remember him fondly and think of him often, the wide grin with the 'oh yeah' and vigorous head nod as acknowledgement, your smile and laugh will be missed. An avid sports fan, Robert was always ready to discuss the most recent games and how our local teams were performing, adding his knowledge to the conversation. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 20, 2018 at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Special thanks to some special people in Robert's world: Darry and Patti, Dr. Jain and many others, CancerCare Unit, CCU and GH4. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Thumbs up my friend, this will be our last step for now.
